IN THIS VIDEO:
Each year, 250 million people are affected by natural disasters, armed conflict, and disease.
I’m Sienna Miller and I’ve been a Global Ambassador with International Medical Corps since 2009, seeing their lifesaving work first hand around the world.
In such desperate times, minutes make the difference between life and death. When most others are running away, International Medical Corps… rushes in.
We go deep, into the hardest hit and most remote areas, to reach those in greatest need. Since 1984, International Medical Corps has reached tens of millions of people in over seventy-five countries. Saving lives with a simple idea: Give local people the skills and knowledge, and that investment will pay off long after the crisis has ended.
Training is central to International Medical Corps’ work. More than 90% of our seven-thousand staff around the world are local to the communities we serve.
For years to come, they are taking care of people inside their own communities, easing suffering, and saving lives. We are International Medical Corps.
