Netherlands bans UK flights to stop spread of new virus strain

The ban takes effect on Sunday, and will last until January 1. The Netherlands calls it a precaution after finding its first case of a strain of the coronavirus that is currently circulating in the UK. The variant spreads faster, more easily and is more difficult to detect. But it doesn't appear to be more dangerous.
